How to Play

The basics you need to command your first Guardian and win your first duel.

  1. 1

    Choose Your Guardian

    Pick one of the Four Dominions — Hellforge, Stonebound, Tideborne, or Skyborne. Your Guardian is your Champion on the field and starts every battle at 7,500 Life Points.

  2. 2

    Select Your Deck

    Before every match — Campaign, Arena, Ranked or PvP — pick one of your pre-built decks from the Deck Forge. Your deck brings your Creatures, Weapons, Spells, and Environment cards ready to duel — no last-minute assembly.

  3. 3

    Deploy Your Six

    Both players field 6 Creatures across the top and bottom rows. Each creature shows its portrait, HP / ATK / DEF, equipped gear, and any active buffs, debuffs, or status effects.

  4. 4

    Take Your Turn

    Each turn: Draw → Gain Energy → Play Spells & Environments → Summon Creatures → Attack → End turn. Normal Creatures can attack the same turn they're summoned. Legendary and Mythic Creatures suffer summoning sickness and must wait one turn before attacking (unless they have Rush).

  5. 5

    Creatures Must Fall First

    You cannot strike the enemy Champion while they still control a live creature. Destroy all six opposing Creatures to break their shield wall — direct attacks stay locked until the board is clear.

  6. 6

    Two Paths to Victory

    Win by destroying all 6 enemy Creatures, OR by draining the enemy Champion from 7,500 Life Points to 0 once the battlefield is empty. Unleash your Guardian's ultimate to close it out.

Golden Rule

Card text always beats the rulebook. If a card says it can do something, it does — even if the rules would normally say otherwise.
